I dream of shopping at Margaret Howell, I actually shop at H&M, and I can only ever shop at Whistles in the sale.
I talk fashion, beauty, books, travel, home and garden.
I have a full time job in communications, having previously worked as a marketer and editor in publishing as well as writing the occasional piece for newspapers, magazines etc.
Spreading my time, brain-space, and finances across renovating my house; slowly buying a grown-up wardrobe; getting new makeup once in a while; forever battling my rebellious skin; and leaving the house once in a while (as well as the other seemingly endless boring costs that life brings) means spreading it all pretty thin. My corner of the internet is a place for achievable goals; talking about being skint 3 days after payday; and lusting over clothes I definitely can't afford.
Despite my love of fashion, I don't wear heels because I walk almost everywhere, I don't wear skirts in the winter because it's just far too cold, and I've had the same bronzer for 8 years. And I don't mean I've re-purchased the same bronzer for 8 years. I mean 1 bronzer has lasted me 8 years (Benefit Hoola, you got my back).
Hopefully I can inspire other people to find style on a real-life budget and on days where you have to walk to work in the rain.
